Get involved

StagEHd Festival is a volunteer organisation, run by individuals from Edinburgh’s community theatre companies. The Festival is currently looking for more enthusiastic bodies to get involved to assist on the events days – Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June.

Volunteer opportunities available at StagEHd 2023:

• Front of House Steward (work with the First Aider and Venue Manager to oversee the wellbeing of the audience)
• First Aider (work with the front of house stewards to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the audience, volunteers, and performers)
• Stagehand (with the backstage team to assist performing groups with getting in and out of the performance venue and facilitating communication between stage management and performers)

StagEHd will provide all volunteers a t-shirt to wear when in attendance at the Festival and to keep as a memento of the event. Volunteers will also be invited to the post-Festival networking event on Sunday evening.

StagEHd will happily provide proof of volunteering if required.
